Bangalore DIY Investor Workshop July 31st 2016

The 6th DIY Investor Workshop at Bangalore will be held on July 31st 2016. After a gap of 7 months, the investor workshop bandwagon started moving again with the Chennai DIY Investor Meet on 26th June 2016.

Update (13th July 2016): Even is sold out.

Ashal Jauhari, who joined me for the last four workshops at Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Delhi will be conducting the meet on July 31st.

Due to health and other  family commitments, my role for the time being, will be limited to organising the events with the help of friends in different cities.

Ashal Jauhari is the owner of the popular Facebook group, Asan Ideas for Wealth and one of most erudite and level-headed experts on personal finance.

He will be joined by Krishna Kishore a finance professional and stock investor who is well known for his clarity of thought on how to select/own a good business. Krishna has spoken twice before at the Bangalore meets.

All areas related to personal finance and generic ideas related to stock investing shall be covered by the speakers. Register with your spouse if possible

I can promise you that the event will redefine the way you approach money management.

The event (as always) is not-for-profit. Sincere thanks to Mr. Muthu Krishnan for booking the venue and for the support of many friends who have always helped organise the meets: (Prashant Kulkarni, Guruprasad, Mohit Pandey, Vignesh Bhaskar, Prem Nath, Krishna and Mohammed Aaqil).

Date:  July 31, 2016, 10:30 a.m. to July 31, 2016, 4 p.m. With a lunch and two tea breaks.

    1. I would prefer not to allow that. For such an event I have paid an advance with a minimum guarantee of participation. Allowing cash at the venue keeps me in the dark about how many will attend until the last minute. So I would request you to please pay online.

  1. Hi Pattu,

Long time reader of your blog, first time poster…

Thanks for setting this up at B-lore. I have registered for myself + spouse.

    Warmest Regards

    1. The tickets are transferable and I can offer a refund if you cannot attend, but would prefer if registration is done online.

    1. I see a payment pending remark against your ticket. I will check again in a couple of days. In case you receive a refund from your bank, you can register again. In case the credit is confirmed (after a few days), send me a mail to freefincal [at] gmail [dot] com.

  2. Hi Pattu,

I registered for the program for myself+spouse on 17-Jun. I too did not receive any email confirmation for the same. Could you please check if my payment is stuck.

    Warmest Regards,

  3. Hello freefincal,

I wanted to really attend the Bangalore workshop on 31st July. By any chance you have one extra place (I can see event is sold out).

  4. I had booked 2 seats for the workshop for me and my father. My father is unable to attend & I wanted to cancel his seat. This will also give a chance for 1 more person to attend the workshop. If its too late, the refund amount is not important.
