The second DIY investor workshop at New Delhi will be held on Nov. 8th 2015. The event will be sponsored in part by mutual fund selection and analysis portal, the thefundoo.com.
Ashal Jauhari and I, along with Sharad Singh the founder of thefundoo, will cover the basics of money management and goal-based investing.
No prior knowledge of personal finance is necessary

Ashal Jauhari is a financial literacy proponent and has helped several hundreds of families manage their money better via his Facebook group Asan Ideas of Wealth.
Topics that will be covered include:
1) How to secure your financial castle from different types of emergencies
2) How to plan for and review the progress of short-term and long-term financial goals with excel-based illustrations
3) How to manage your home loan
4) How to write a will, prepare a gift deed
5) How to construct a mutual fund portfolio
6) Capital gains associated with different financial instruments
7) Aspects of investing that make a difference
In addition, there will be an extensive Q/A session with Ashal.
After registration, participants will be directed to a Google forms page. Here you can list generic questions or topics that you would like Ashal to speak about/discuss.
We would appreciate if you can register asap to give Ashal enough time to prepare.
Tickets purchased are transferable.
These workshops are not-for-profit. All expenses associated with the event, net of sponsorship, will be equally shared by all participants via a registration fee.
