Birds at IIT Madras

Now for some Sunday leisure. IIT Madras is part of a forest reserve. Over the years, I had some strange encounters with the flora and fauna (read snakes) there. There was even a ‘beware of crocodiles’ (actual crocs  not humans!) sign not too long ago.  It is home to about 85 species of birds (including migratory ones). My wife is on a mission to photograph them all!

Here is a slideshow of some of the birds at IIT, Madras photographed by Rama Neelamegam (ignore what the first slide says). If you like it, you can follow her FB page, Pan-O-Rama
