I have fond memories of my BSc days. From the pressure cooker situation of 12th standard, we found ourselves suddenly having a lot of time in hand. A LOT of it
Thankfully, cable tv was at its infancy and there was no internet. So I had the most creative and productive years of my life .. until I did my MSc and found myself back in the pressure cooker.
For those 3 years, the one thing I did a lot was .., nothing! I took long walks and sat in my college ground thinking about life in general, god, reglion, astronomy etc.
Those were some of the best year of my life.

Cut to the present, that is the one thing I miss in my life the most. I have no time for doing nothing.
Thankfully travelling offers me a chance to do that. As I dont have a smartphone. I can sit doing nothing in airports and that is when the ideas come knocking.
The reason I wrote this post is to ask if it is is possible for us to ‘do nothing’ for 30 minutes a day, if not an hour?
Can we manage an hour a day in the weekends?
No distractions of any kind. Thiry minutes of alone time.
I am going to give it a shot. I am sure it will helpe me de-stress and recharge.
