Here is a list of personal finance calculators and tools available for Mac Excel 2011. The screener.in stock analyzer is now available in Mac.
Converting the Windows Excel tools to be Mac compatible is an ongoing effort and I shall update this page from time to time.
I request the support of the Mac Excel community to help improve these sheets and point out errors if any. This is a work in progress. I will be updating this page from time to time with Mac Excel versions.
1 Download: Automated Stock analyser with screener.in data This is a free stock analysis spreadsheet that can automatically process balance sheet data from screener.in. This is the 12th edition of the freefincal automated stock analyzer. Fill details can be found here: Automated Stock Analysis with Screener.in data Thanks to Butan Mohapatra for suggesting I do this.
The sheet extracts three mutual fund portfolios from money control and compares stock holdings to determine the extent of portfolio overlap among your mutual fund holdings. The tool can help you build a well-diversified equity portfolio. More details and the Windows Excel version can be found at Moneycontrol edition: Equity Mutual Fund Portfolio Comparison Tool (Feb 2016)
3 Download: Step-by-Step Goal-Based Investing Calculator to begin and track long-term goal based investing. Most goal planning calculators tell you how much you should invest. This sheets asks you, how much you can invest and goes about calculating the portfolio return. With that you can calculate the asset allocation required (equity to fixed income ratio). More details can be found here: A Step-By-Step Guide to Long Term Goal-Based Investing. The above file will work ‘as is’ in Window Excel as well with macros enabled.
4 Integrated Financial Planning Template will work ‘as is’ except for the macro which is required for printing the plan.
5 Financial Goal Planner with Flexible Asset Allocation will work ‘as is’ including the macro.
