  1. Hello Sir. My name is Arvind Kapoor. I am a CFP presenttly working with a pvt bank as Relationship Manager. I have downloaded the financial calculators but I am unable to open the file. Plshelp

    1. Hi Arvind, The files can be opened by any excel version from 2002 onwards. You are the first to have this problem. Likely a problem in the network or your computer. See if you are able to open the other calculators. If not try any other excel file from a site like vertex42.com
If you are able to open other files then let me know specifically which file is problematic. I will then send it to you.

  2. Sir pls provide few tips as to how can i develop more knowledge abt financial products and improve my financial planning skills. I did my CFP throuugh challenger status but i couldnot get opportunity to apply planning skills for my clients.

    1. Arvind, the only solution is to read and interact with clients more and more. Also do your own financial planning. Imagine you to be bet.
      age 20-30 then 30-40, 40-50 etc.
At each stage how will you plan your life?
Purchase a book like Lights Camera Action from Ranjan Varma. That will also help

  3. When you are arriving Net Insurance requirement (Cell – B45), I believe, you need to subtract Current Life Insurance Cover (Cell – B10).
