Freefincal robo advisory template
This will help you build an investment plan for all your future needs from start to finish. That is from how much to invest where, where to invest and how to modify the investment allocation year on year. This release is a major bug update.
Fee-only RIA Swapnil Kendhe – Vivektaru pointed out that I was taking the EPF/NPS contributions for retirement planning incorrectly. This has been corrected in the current 4th release. Existing users will have to redo steps 2 and 3.
The robo template is available as a fully functional free exe file and as a paid Excel file (Windows & Mac) where all internal settings can be modified. All existing users of the paid version have been emailed the latest update (all future updates are also free).
To explore the features of the template you can consult: Key features of the freefincal robo advisory software template
Additional features and the download link is also available here: Download the Freefincal Robo Advisory Software Template
Paid Version: Get the paid version by paying Rs. 5160. I shall send you the file after payment confirmation.
Automated Mutual Fund and Financial Goal Tracker
This is the only file I use for my investments. I wanted to build a tracker that tells me “where I am today” wrt my financial goals. A quick way to conduct a financial audit. In this age of free online trackers, this Excel file still has its users and I believe some of its features are not available elsewhere.
The usp of this sheet is that it shifts the focus from individual fund returns to portfolio returns and growth. It is entirely open-source, so you can modify it as per your wishes. You can explore more here: Features of the freefincal mutual fund and financial goal tracker
In this edition, I have updated the sheet to handle mutual fund scheme mergers and a way to plot the growth of the entire portfolio with time. So the Portfolio Growth Visualizer is now part of the tracker. Thanks to Anish Mohan for his help in this regard. Existing users will need to make these changes to the sheet
So you can now plot graphs such as the ones shown in Ten Years of Mutual Fund Investing: My Journey and lessons learned
I have, for now, removed the Capital Gains sheet from the tracker. Those interested can use the Mutual Fund Capital Gains Calculator. The advantage with this sheet is, you can check the potential CG of any amount that you wish to redeem today.
